KANSAS | YEARBOOK YOUNIVERSITY

Location: MidAmerica Nazarene University, Olathe, KS
Dates: June 16-18, 2026

When you think of the traditional Yearbook camp, you probably think of a lot of theme planning and designing and that mad rush to finish the overwhelming theme project. Yearbook YOUniversity GOES BEYOND the outdated summer camp format and and the old school requirements. We are going build a great foundation, concentrating on some thoughtful ladder planning, deadline planning, and goal setting. We will spend time focusing on running a profitable program by crafting marketing, advertising, and fundraising campaigns with new and creative ideas and mapping them out on calendars so we are prepared for them. We will also develop a design plan with a fully developed theme, cover art, style guide, and your students will still be put to the test with a challenging project, but one that has been revamped to set your year up for success....and hopefully send you home with a G.O.A.T. Award. Beyond our Yearbook Training Track, we would love you to join us for the Photography Track with trainer Mark Murray. Mark will GO BEYOND the basic composition discussions and will challenge your photographers to try new things, to sharpen their technical skills, and to tell true stories through photographs. I'm so excited to have you join us for a unique, challenging and fun training experience this summer! Though some things have been revamped, many things remain the same...a lot of fun, like-minded students together for one purpose, amazing snacks, and of course, the Wacky Olympics. See you in June!
